Ran (Art) & Max (Copy) joined Ogilvy & Mather London in January 2014, after graduating from the School of Communication Arts 2.0, London. They work across a broad range of Ogilvy's roster (Philips, BP, Babylon, Bulmers and more), were responsible for winning new client Babylon and part of wider teams that won picthes for Coca-Cola and Blind Pig cider.

Before starting her career at O&M, Ran did an Art Foundation course, specialising in illustration, and then - attracted by the irresistible blend of art and commerce - went on to study advertising at the School of Communication Arts 2.0, where she met Max and fell utterly in love with the power of a good idea.

Ran works also as a freelance artist, and has just finished illustrating a children’s bedtime alphabet book – Toodle-oo Zoo. She was one of 20 artists invited by the BBC to paint the Queen’s Jubilee River Pageant. This piece went on to be hung in a gallery alongside artists like David Hockney, and featured on the BBC.

Ran loves Bengal kittens, making lists and is a firm believer in Second Breakfast. She dreams of one day winning the Great British Bake Off, though would settle for a Cannes Grande Prix.

Max Maclean is a Copywriter at Ogilvy & Mather London. Before starting at O&M, Max grew up in leafy (read ‘boring’) West London. He attended Edinburgh University where he spent 4 years managing an award-winning Student Radio station.

Unfortunately, he was meant to be studying for a Masters in History & Classics. Mediocre Masters degree in hand, Max tried several even more mediocre jobs, before stumbling into advertising. When he's not at Ogilvy, Max works as a creative consultant for a number of start-ups or writes a science fiction novel.

He likes vintage shirts, mexican food and having drunken debates. In recent months, he’s been helping his friend build a houseboat (named ‘Nauty Buoy’), and has been listening to a lot of N.W.A. He dreams of owning a library with a secret door behind a bookshelf.
